WiRE Edmonton Networking Meet-up: April 24

Join WiRE Tuesday April 24 in Edmonton for the WiRE Networking Meetup. Guest speaker: Dr. Maureen Kolla – Manager, Clean Power and Heat – Alberta Innovates, Clean Energy.

Dr. Kolla is responsible for leading initiatives, developing partnerships, evaluating technologies, and managing projects ranging from applied research to technology demonstration. She works closely with industry, technology developers, government, and other stakeholders to advance clean energy technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and diversify Alberta’s economy.

WiRE meet-ups present a welcoming and casual opportunity to meet peers, share ideas and opportunities, and educate colleagues about projects and initiatives of interest to the group. All women working in a field related to renewable energy are invited, as are students and developing professionals who are looking for perspectives on joining the renewable energy sector. Light refreshments are served.
