Ideal Adjustable Torque Screwdriver

Ideal Torque Screwdriver

Applying correct torque to connections is crucially important to the safety and long-term integrity of an electrical system. The Ideal adjustable torque screwdriver is a precision calibrated tool, which allows the user to achieve the recommended torque specifications of electrical connections.

The Ideal adjustable torque screwdriver helps prevent over- and under-tightening of electrical connections by utilizing a torque-limiting clutch. Once the desired torque has been reached, the clutch will disengage, and an audible and tactile click will alert the user.

Torque range is displayed in both metric and imperial scales – Newton Metres (Nm) and pounds of force per inch (in. lbs.) – and is adjustable from zero to 36 in. lbs., making it easy to meet the torque settings recommended by equipment manufacturers or the Canadian Electrical Code.

Featuring a ¼” hex drive for compatibility with a wide variety of bits, sockets, and adapters, each Ideal adjustable torque screwdriver is individually calibrated and comes in a kit that includes six bits and calibration certificate.
