Our electricity grid needs to be greener, less centralized and ever-more customer-centric. But getting it there depends on expertise and innovation across a range of critical engineering, operations and information technology challenges – the most important and exciting of which will be explored next month at the Electricity Distributors Association’s Electricity, Distribution, Information Systems and Technology (EDIST) Conference & Exhibition.

What: A 2.5-day program featuring more than 50 technical experts who will provide actionable insights based on up-to-the-minute real-world experience across concurrent engineering, operations and information technology tracks. Speakers will be drawn from electricity distribution utilities; their affiliates, suppliers and technical advisors; and agencies and academia. Plus extensive exhibition space and networking opportunities.

Featured topics and presentations will include: distributed energy resources and their grid impacts, cyber security, asset information management, customer demand projection, robotic process automation, smart communities and micro grids, the grid-impacts of electric vehicle adoption, and much more.

Where: Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre

When: June 1-3, 2022
